Telling our truth is freeing, even when an actual prisoner. When I had to serve my 60 days for my 3rd DUI, it was beyond scary embarking on that prison sentence ... for those that have been there, it’s no place you want to be. But I changed my mindset and thought of myself as a tool inside those walls to help other women struggling with addiction to feel some hope for change. I spread my message & many appeared to benefit or at least feel comforted for that moment.
